When the park opened again in 2020 after being closed for Covid-19, there was no special ticketed event for Magic Kingdom Halloween. So, people could see Halloween decorations, characters, and parades without buying a ticket to an event. As the park opened up more, Halloween-themed characters started to show up less and less.
During Halloween 2021, there was a unique Hours event. As soon as that started, all the characters and cavalcades left the park during regular business hours, except for the Winnie the Pooh parade, where characters from the show were dressed up for Halloween. This year, we expect all the Halloween-themed characters and parades to be taken out of the park.
